Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner
Compensation: $200K-$300K per year
Job Type: Part time or Full time. Flexible hours, Monday–Friday, No call.
A well-established, physician-led group with locations throughout Long Island, is currently seeking to hire a Family Nurse Practitioner. This practice has built a stellar reputation for clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and multidisciplinary collaboration. 100% outpatient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key clinical provider in the delivery of high-quality care.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of endocrine conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders (hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism), hormone imbalances, and infertility.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Refer patients to appropriate specialty services as needed.
- Provide clear communication and education to patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive strategies.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Collaborate with referring physicians, specialists, and care teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Provide clinical oversight to nurses, technologists, and support staff within the practice.
- Stay compliant with HIPAA, NYS DOH, CMS, and relevant payer guidelines.
- Contribute to the development of a sustainable patient panel aligned with practice growth objectives.
Qualifications:
- BSN and MSN from an accredited nursing school
- Trained in Endocrinology
- NYS RN & NP license, BLS, Board Certified
- Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Team-oriented with a patient-centered approach to care.
- Familiarity with EMRs and value-based care metrics is a plus.
