Job description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Municipal Design Engineer to join a growing team in Easton, PA. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who is passionate about municipal projects, infrastructure rehabilitation, and contributing to the development of thriving communities.

• Take on design responsibilities across municipal projects including stormwater systems, detention basins, and infrastructure rehabilitation.
• Prepare and submit permit applications at state and local levels.
• Draft comprehensive technical reports and documentation.
• Review subdivision and utility plans submitted by developers for municipal approvals.
• Ensure development plans comply with local ordinances, zoning requirements, grading standards, stormwater regulations, and land development codes.
• Assist with construction administration, escrow accounts, and related municipal processes.

Qualifications:

• Education: B.S. in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional experience in site civil or municipal design.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D for municipal-type projects.
• Credentials: Registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) preferred.
• Mindset: Detail-oriented, proactive, and motivated to contribute to impactful community projects.
