Job Description
- Manage a caseload of litigated matters from intake through resolution
- Drive trial prep: case strategy, discovery planning, records review, witness workups, and client interviews
- Take and defend depositions and support expert discovery when needed
- Draft and argue motions and support hearing preparation
- Conduct legal research and write clear, persuasive briefs
- Communicate with clients and keep matters moving with urgency and accuracy
- Collaborate closely with a strong litigation team while owning your assignments
Qualifications
- Active California Bar license in good standing
- 3+ years of litigation experience in asbestos, silica, or toxic tort
- Strong writing, research, and practical judgment in fast-moving cases
- Confident deposition and motion practice skills (or clear readiness to grow into them)
- Professional, client-facing communication and the ability to work independently
