Job description:

A well-established construction management and general contracting firm with 50 years of consistent growth is seeking a Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from planning through completion.

You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of your projects managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and stakeholder communication. This is a hands-on role where you are expected to drive results, not just monitor them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage commercial construction projects from start to finish
  • Develop scopes of work for subcontract procurement
  • Negotiate vendor and subcontractor contracts
  • Coordinate with engineers, architects, and field teams
  • Conduct frequent job site visits
  • Manage project documentation and reporting
  • Plan resources, budgets, and timelines
  • Hire and oversee subcontractors
  • Track progress and ensure schedule adherence
  • Ensure full OSHA safety compliance
  • Process monthly requisitions

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects
  • Solid knowledge of construction methods, materials, and procedures
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • OSHA certification required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Preferred:

  • PMP certification
  • Experience with Autodesk Build
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Contract negotiation experience
