As the Director of Field Services, you will lead the US Field Services team, maintaining full P&L ownership and strategic direction of asset deployments. This pivotal role empowers you to shape the future of the core service offerings, driving operational excellence, safety and training, while propelling growth and profitability. Lead a skilled field service team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety while spearheading the development of new service offerings and pricing strategies to expand market presence.

Services include remote SCADA design and programming, telemetry systems, data acquisition, monitoring tools, and more. Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and implement strategies to grow service offerings and meet organizational goals.
  • Achieve sales volume and operating profits through effective P&L management, strategic asset deployment, and delivering superior customer satisfaction.
  • Provide innovative ideas regarding service pricing strategies and contract pricing agreements.
  • Foster a culture of safety, continuous improvement, collaboration, and growth.
  • Manage departmental budget, financial performance, and forecasting.
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety policies and procedures, including "Stop Work" conditions.
  • Manage staffing requirements, training, and personnel development for the Division.
  • Establish and maintain high service standards and execution of best practices.
  • Identify and pursue profitable growth opportunities, while declining low-margin business.
  • Conduct quality assurance and audits to ensure service quality.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences, nurturing industry relationships.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or electrical field.
  • Minimum of 10+ years' experience in the automation industry and field service functions.
  • 3+ years of experience in the municipal Water & Wastewater industry.
  • Proven track record of leadership of field service personnel and equipment.
  • Expertise with service pricing strategies to improve profitability, contract negotiations.
  • Experience generating project scopes of work, budgetary proposals, and delivery timelines.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build and lead teams effectively.
  • Extensive knowledge of Process Instrumentation, PLC’s, relay logic, and process controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, contract documents, and P&ID drawings.
  • Travel 25-40% for office visits, team meetings, training, and customer site visits.
